AKTU uses a ten point absolute grading scale where each letter grade maps to a grade point. SGPA is the credit weighted average of grade points in a semester and CGPA is the credit weighted average across all semesters completed so far.
Key rules to remember
- SGPA equals the sum of credit multiplied by grade point divided by total credits.
- Grace marks may be awarded within the limits notified by the university for a given session.
- Challenge evaluation allows re-checking of an answer script on payment of the prescribed fee.
