MAKAUT
Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology
MAKAUT follows an outcome based education model. Each semester produces an SGPA, each year a YGPA, and the programme concludes with a DGPA on a 10 point scale. Percentage is derived from DGPA using the university conversion rule rather than raw marks.
Key rules to remember
- DGPA is the weighted average of the yearly YGPA values across the programme.
- The standard conversion applies a fixed deduction to DGPA before multiplying by ten.
- Continuous Assessment and Practical Assessment carry defined internal weightage per subject.
